CAD Technician

A challenging opportunity has arisen for a Level I CAD Technician to join our team at ADB Companies Inc. As a key member of our OSP Engineering division, you will play a vital role in providing CAD drawing and support for various OSP utility construction projects.

• Create entry-level CAD drawings for OSP utility construction projects, adhering to local municipality requirements
• Verify CAD design data against GIS systems, ensuring quality and making corrections as needed
• Make revisions on CAD drawings provided by Engineers or CAD Leads
• Create base mapping of existing surface features to accurately display field conditions
• Utilize existing PDF utility plans to map out existing utility infrastructure
• Interpret completed redlines from construction versus the original design to create a closeout package
• Support the Lead CAD Tech to create an entire construction-ready drawing set, encompassing quantities and Bill of Materials
• Ability to read and interpret utility construction drawings and prints
• Provide regular updates to Engineering trackers within various software on daily production
• Collaborate with team members on daily workloads and assignments regularly

• 1+ year of CAD experience required if no formal education/degree
• Associates degree in Computer Aided Drafting required if no formal experience
• High School diploma or equivalent required
