Exeter Government Services LLC seeks a highly skilled Cybersecurity Professional to provide support to the lead security analyst in planning and protecting employee computers and data networks.

The ideal candidate will have experience in administrative support, proficiency in MS Office, and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Additionally, they must be a U.S. citizen with an active DoD Secret clearance and possess a strong understanding of cyber security principles. The successful candidate will also obtain Security+ certification within six months.

This is a full-time position that requires the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. The salary range for this role is estimated to be around $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on location and experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to the lead security analyst in implementing security measures to protect company data and systems.
  • Monitor and track all security training and education programs to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Assist with scanning for security configuration management on computers and servers to identify vulnerabilities.
  • Report security breaches and anomalies to senior management in a timely manner.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, or related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in cybersecurity, preferably in a government agency or private sector organization.
  • Active DoD Secret clearance.
  • Security+ certification within six months of hire date.
  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, including risk management, threat analysis, and incident response.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
