We are seeking an Economist Forecaster to join our team at the State of Oregon. The successful candidate will have a Master's degree in economics or a related field and three to five years' experience doing economic or related research or econometric forecasting.
About the Office of Forecasting, Research and Analysis:
The Office of Forecasting Research and Analysis provides statewide caseload forecasts for all major programs, as well as caseload related research/analysis for budgeting, policy development, and operational planning.
Our team is tasked with investigating and charting the intersection between public policy and demand for services, as well as the impact of economic and public policy decisions that affect one-in-four Oregonians. We provide evidence-based budgets for the two largest agencies in Oregon government.
