Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Center Maintenance Technician to join our team at JLL. As a key member of our critical facility operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our data center systems and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain data center systems and equipment, including UPS systems, emergency generators, switch-gear, and mechanical cooling systems.
  • Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of preventative maintenance programs and schedules.
  • Monitor and maintain refrigeration, water cooling, and air conditioning equipment, boilers, heating, ventilating, and hot water equipment, pumps, valves, piping, and filters.
  • Perform and complete all tenant service requests accurately and expediently.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of hands-on experience in a data center/critical facility, including UPS systems, emergency generators, switch-gear, and mechanical cooling systems.
  • Certification as a Universal Technician for CFC's (or within 90 days of employment), if required by local jurisdiction.
  • Working knowledge of computer applications, including Word and Excel, and business applications, such as CMMS and Change Management.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Training and certification from an accredited trade school or Union apprentice program in HVAC, electronics, electrical.
