Job Responsibilities

As an Oral Surgeon with our client, your key responsibilities will include:
  • Diagnosing and treating oral diseases, prioritizing patient care
  • Educating patients on oral health and treatment options, empowering them to make informed decisions
  • Performing surgical procedures on teeth, bone, and soft tissues of the oral cavity, requiring expertise and precision
  • Adhering to federal and state regulations, as well as HIPAA and OSHA guidelines, maintaining the highest standards of care
  • Staying abreast of new developments, technologies, and best practices through ongoing education and professional development

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess:
  • A DMD or DDS degree from an accredited university by the ADA CODA
  • Board eligibility or certification in Oral Maxillofacial Surgery, demonstrating your expertise
  • A clear and active dentist license in the State of Mississippi, ensuring you meet local requirements
  • Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination, protecting both yourself and patients
  • Proof of malpractice insurance, safeguarding against unforeseen circumstances
  • BLS/CPR certification, guaranteeing you can respond effectively in emergencies
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience, showcasing your ability to deliver high-quality care
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, facilitating effective collaboration with patients and colleagues
