Director of Partnership Marketing

San Jose Sharks is seeking an experienced and innovative professional to lead our partnership marketing efforts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional value to our partners and driving revenue growth.

Job Summary:

The Director of Partnership Marketing will oversee the development and execution of strategic partnerships, ensuring alignment with our business objectives. You will lead a functional group in creating mutually beneficial marketing initiatives, collaborating with internal stakeholders and external partners.

Responsibilities:

  • Employee Development: Build and inspire a team of creative storytellers, fostering collaboration and innovative thinking to drive business results.
  • Strategy & Planning: Develop and execute strategies for partnership marketing, including upsells, renewals, and major partner touchpoints.
  • Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key partners, ensuring alignment and collaboration on marketing initiatives.
  • Revenue Generation: Develop ways to create new value for current partners, renewing and extending those relationships early, and growing investment from our current partners.
  • Campaign Execution: Lead the planning and execution of co-marketing campaigns, ensuring timely delivery and performance tracking.
  • Performance Analysis: Monitor, analyze, and report on partnership performance metrics and ROI.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
  • 10+ years of progressively increasing responsible experience in partnership marketing, business development, or related roles
  • Proven track record of successfully managing strategic partnerships and marketing campaigns
  • Commitment to service excellence, making us the preferred partner of our partners
