Nurse Break Relief Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to provide break relief and supplemental staffing to our RNs working in the Emergency, Medical Surgical/Swing Bed, and Skilled Nursing departments. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year acute care experience within the past two years, with 6 months recent experience in Emergency or Critical Care setting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide break relief and supplemental staffing to RNs in designated departments
• Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide individualized, age-appropriate care to patients
• Maintain required proof of competency to ensure high-quality patient care
• Will be directed or autonomously go to any department for which s/he is trained and competent to provide nursing support
Requirements:
• Current unencumbered California RN License
• Current AHA BLS for healthcare providers, ACLS, and PALS
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
Work Schedule:
Night shift, 7p to 7:30a
