Fire Sprinkler System Inspector

We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Sprinkler System Inspector to join our team at Performance Systems Integration LLC. As a Fire Sprinkler System Inspector, you will be responsible for performing inspections and testing of fire sprinkler systems to ensure compliance with applicable life-safety and fire-safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Perform inspections and testing of fire sprinkler systems to ensure compliance with applicable life-safety and fire-safety requirements
- Assist/coordinate with all forms of life safety system testing
- Document all testing findings in accordance with NFPA and local requirements
- Maintain a good positive relationship with the customer and pass on information to the appropriate personnel for follow-up, quotes, questions, or concerns
- Discuss deficiencies noted with a customer, explaining the problem and its resolution
- Perform fire extinguisher duties 10-20% of the time
- 2 plus years experience in fire alarm systems
- High School diploma or equivalent
- NICET II (Water based systems)
- FEX-1 Fire Extinguishers (Seattle Certification)
- E4 Wet/dry chemical fire extinguishing system
- Knowledge and ability to understand and operate basic computer functions such as Windows, Word, Outlook, Microsoft Teams, Apple IOS, and Android
- Must possess a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Must be able to travel overnight over multiple days occasionally
- Frequent exposure to fumes or airborne particles
- Occasional exposure to working in high, precarious places; toxic or caustic chemicals; risk of electrical shock and vibration
- The noise level is generally moderate
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds unassisted
- Frequently lift and carry toolboxes, tools, equipment, parts, cabling, and/or wiring
- Must be able to push or pull up to 50 pounds
- Frequent ladder climbing, often while carrying up to 50 pounds
