Your primary duty will be to perform chair-side assistance, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

Seats patients, adjusts chairs, and drapes patients with protective covers
Sets up each unit with proper supplies and instruments needed by postgraduate students during daily patient treatment
Performs four-handed assisting with doctors during examination and treatment of patients
Operates suction equipment
Mixes endodontic and restorative materials
Maintains all dental instruments and equipment
Maintains cleanliness of clinic and dispensary area following OSHA regulations
Utilizes digital radiographic equipment to obtain images
Cleans and prepares instruments for sterilization; re-stocks endodontic kits with proper instruments and materials
Assists supervisor in ordering and maintaining clinical supplies

Requirements:

Graduation from an accredited Dental Assisting Program
Certification as a Dental Assistant (CDA) through the Dental Assisting National Board (DANB)
Valid Dental Radiologic Technology License issued by the New Jersey Department of Environment Protection
CPR Certified
