Job Summary

This position provides essential sterile processing services within the hospital, encompassing assembly, distribution, and storage of supplies and equipment, as well as retrieval of dirty equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide general sterile processing services, including assembly, distribution, and storage of supplies and equipment.
  • Retrieve dirty equipment and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing and completing work assignments and other duties as assigned.
  • Communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing, to ensure seamless collaboration with colleagues.
Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year experience as a Sterile Processing Technician, or completion of a Central Service Technician Program/Course or Surgical Technician Program/Course.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Must obtain IAHCSMM or CBSPD certification within one year of hire.
Physical Requirements

Must be able to perform the essential physical requirements of the job, including working with varied decontamination and sterilization equipment.

Pay Range

$29.12

The posted pay range reflects the lowest to highest pay available for this position at the time of posting and may be subject to change. Salary offers are determined by candidate's relevant experience and skills.
