Nurse Specialist

Magnet Medical is seeking a travel nurse RN for a 12-hour, night shift position in Seattle, Washington. This is a long-term care opportunity that requires specialized nursing care to residents.
About the JobThis Nurse Specialist role will provide comprehensive assessments of residents' health status, including physical examinations, medication histories, and psychosocial needs. The successful candidate will develop individualized care plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, addressing residents' medical, social, and emotional needs.
Responsibilities- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, medication management, and wound care.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, focusing on promoting quality of life and overall well-being.
- Provide education to residents and their families on health conditions, treatment plans, and self-care techniques.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of nursing assessments, interventions, and resident progress in electronic health records (EHRs).
To be considered for this role, applicants must have:
- A current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Washington.
- At least one year of experience in long-term care or a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with interdisciplinary teams.
The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 per year, based on a 36-hour workweek and 12-hour shifts. A tax-free stipend will also be provided.
