Sales and Business Development Representative

We are seeking an experienced Sales and Business Development Representative to join our team at M Management Inc. in Capitol Heights, MD.
About the Role:
This is a dynamic opportunity for a seasoned sales professional to maximize sales of our services in the NYC area to new customers and prospects. Our services include Document Storage, Electronic Document Management Solutions, Data Storage, Pathology Storage and Shredding.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and upselling to assigned client base, leading generation and prospecting activities for new logos and existing accounts, qualifying, researching, tracking and developing leads into viable opportunities, effectively articulating the GRM value proposition to multiple organizational levels, developing strong business cases, proposals and presentations for sales opportunities, negotiating terms of agreements and closing sales, maintaining a strong knowledge of the industry, trends, technology, competitive offerings, and customer requirements, providing informed feedback to the company, and participating in professional organizations (sales, marketing, industry associations).
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of B2B consultative sales experience; preferred document management experience.
- A strong hunter mentality - ability to prospect and sell into new account opportunities.
- Driven to succeed and excel, with passion and enthusiasm for the business.
- Excels in an entrepreneurial atmosphere with constant change.
- Self-motivated and self-directed.
- Exceptional work ethic.
- Independent thinker.
- Technical awareness - can confidently converse with C-level contacts.
- Strong relationship building skills.
- Proven record of exceeding quota in previous positions.
- Demonstrated ability to win competitive account sales.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Compensation:
The estimated annual salary for this role is $80,000-$120,000, based on industry standards and the candidate's level of experience.
