Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Dietitian II to join our team at University of Chicago Medicine. As a Registered Dietitian for Academic Healthcare, you will play a critical role in assessing nutrition status, establishing nutrition diagnosis, and developing intervention strategies for our pediatric patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess nutrition status and establish nutrition diagnosis for pediatric patients
  • Develop and implement intervention strategies to improve nutritional status
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to educate patients and caregivers about therapeutic diets and nutrition support regimens
  • Authorize changes to formulas based on clinical assessment of patients
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Registered Dietitian (RD) with successful completion of coordinated program, dietetic internship, or other experience approved by the Commission on Accreditation of Dietetic Education (CADE) of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics
  • BS degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or other relevant major with 3(+) years total clinical experience OR MS degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or other relevant major with 3(+) years total clinical experience
  • Must hold an additional certification related to area of clinical practice or Masters Degree
