Assembly Technician

We are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team in a 1st Shift role. As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for assembling parts and subassemblies for OEM products. This role requires attention to detail, ability to work from assembly drawings and specifications, and use of various tools and equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Assemble parts with the aid of verbal instructions, prints, or sample parts.
- Use various types of riveting devices, hand tools, air guns, and power devices to assemble parts.
- Position parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements.
- Check parts for quality and accuracy using basic inspection devices such as micrometers, verniers, scales, squares, and gages.
- Assemble prototypes with Engineering help.
- Inspect parts for various types of cosmetic specifications.
- One to three months of related experience is preferred.
- Ability to read blueprints, work orders, and follow instructions.
- Demonstrated detail orientation, self-motivation skills, and ability to multi-task.
- Good finger and hand dexterity.
- Ability to understand and follow MEC safety policies and procedures.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs at a time.
