Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Residential Plumbing Technician to join our team at Reding Inc. As a key member of our HVAC team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service and support to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Complete calls correctly the first time with quality and care to applicable codes and Reding standards.
  • Adjust, repair, and replace sewage and sump pumps.
  • Communicate the benefits of Club Memberships to customers.
  • Complete all required documentation on services, collect, record, and deliver fees to designated office administration.
  • Provide accurate True Transparency pricing to customers.
  • Cut, thread, assemble, and install pipes; connect valves; caulk joints; and test finished jobs.
  • Perform thorough and accurate plumbing inspections, including Health & Safety Checklists, and communicate findings to customers.
  • Repair drain, sewer, and water lines.
  • Prepare detailed finding reports with pictures to discuss with customers and present repair options.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years of plumbing service experience.
  • Knowledge of industry equipment, field concepts, practices, procedures, tools, and equipment.
  • Strong relationship-building skills, customer focus, and discipline.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • A valid driver's license and approval to drive by Company's insurance carrier.
Physical Requirements

This role requires:

  • Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor conditions with varying temperatures and elements.
  • Ability to climb ladders and steep stairs.
  • Ability to stand, stoop, bend, crouch, kneel, sit, and reach for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and push, pull, carry, or maneuver heavier items with assistance.
  • Occasional work from heights 15 feet or higher above ground.
