Customer Experience Representative

Job Summary:
We're seeking a Customer Experience Representative to join our team As a key member of our sales floor, you'll be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, providing top-notch customer service, and driving sales through advanced product knowledge and innovative merchandising.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Experience: Greet every customer with a smile, use the F.A.S.T. service model to meet their needs, and engage in friendly conversation while serving them at the cutting counter, cash register, and sales floor.
- Product Knowledge: Drive sales through advanced product knowledge, suggestive selling, and innovative merchandising. Invite customers to participate in store activities, such as Education Classes, Custom Framing, and other events.
- Operations: Process customer transactions at the cutting counter and cash register efficiently and professionally. Maintain a safe work environment, interact collaboratively with others, and get work accomplished through others.
- Store Appearance: Maintain high standards throughout the sales floor by cleaning and recovering shelves, putting away returns, and cleaning up any spills/messes with a sense of urgency.
Requirements:
- Education: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Experience: No experience required; 1-3 years of previous experience in a customer-centric environment preferred
- Skills: Ability to work with customers and team members, maintain a safe work environment, interact collaboratively with others, and get work accomplished through others
Compensation and Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary of $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits, including medical, dental, and vision plans, company-paid life insurance, long-term disability, paid time off, sick time, tuition reimbursement, and a team member discount.
Physical Requirements:
- Stand during an entire shift (other than normal break time)
- Continuously walk around all areas of the store throughout shift
- Read written instructions, reports, and other information on paper and computer screens
- Orally communicate with customers and other team members on a consistent basis throughout their shift
- Lift, place, and arrange items on shelves and racks
- Bend down and reach above head
- Climb and descend ladder
- Individually lift up to 49 pounds, and group lift up to 97 pounds
