Job Title: Senior Software Developer

Job Summary:
Delphi-US is seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Developer to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale applications using SQL server, PowerApps, and Reporting via SAP business objects and/or Crystal Reports.

Responsibilities:
  • Direct system development and maintenance activities, including systems analysis, systems design, and programming for large applications or related groups of smaller applications.
  • Effectively utilize systems development resources in meeting the information systems goals and plans of the organization.
  • Coordinate the planning, testing, and operation phases of automated systems.
  • Oversee the operation of entrusted automated systems, ensuring timeliness and accuracy of products.
  • Recommend and implement modifications of systems through revisions to methods of operations with equipment, computer programs, and personnel to meet economy of systems objectives.
  • Promote the use of the computer and of data networks by identifying new and potential users and application areas.
  • Establish schedules and priorities for systems development projects and support services.
  • Assist in coordinating production schedules.
  • Evaluate applications software.
  • Develop, disseminate, and ensure adherence to systems design and programming standards.
  • Advise and make recommendations to superiors on matters relating to systems development.
  • Coordinate the development of documentation according to established standards.
  • Deal directly with contractual providers of data processing and related services.

Requirements:
  • College degree in IT or related field.
  • Experience working in a position responsible for programming, reporting, data analysis, systems development functions involving one or more pertinent application specialties.
  • Minimum of 5-10 years of knowledge and experience of the Software Development Life Cycle, preferably in an Agile environment, utilizing development, testing, and production environments.
  • Minimum of 5-10 years intermediate knowledge and hands-on experience with Microsoft Web Server concepts and IIS setup and configuration management.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years intermediate knowledge and hands-on experience with SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, and developing SQL queries utilizing SQL Server.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years intermediate to expert knowledge and hands-on experience with data conversion, migration, integration, and ETL.
  • Knowledge and experience with Business Objects desirable.
  • Knowledge and experience with developing/analyzing reports in SAP Business Objects preferred.
  • Knowledge and experience with developing/analyzing reports in Crystal Reports desirable.
  • Knowledge and experience with Python or equivalent programming language desirable.
  • Working knowledge and usage of Microsoft collaboration tools such as Teams and SharePoint.
  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 / Power Apps development experience highly desirable.
  • Business analysis and documentation experience.
  • Experience with user setup and maintenance.
  • Technical expertise in understanding of project workflows.
  • Self-starter work ethic who can adapt at providing exceptional results with limited supervision.
  • Strong business-to-technology translation skills are essential for identifying ways to apply solutions to help clients increase business value and performance.
