Job Summary:

About the Job

The Gynecological Care Specialist will work as part of our medical provider team, providing medical services to patients in accordance with their medical specialty.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develops rapport with patients and strives to build a provider-patient partnership to manage patient risk factors and improve outcomes.
  • Provides primary medical care by caring for all patients in accordance with the practitioner's medical specialty.
  • Develops a plan of care for each patient, including complete medical history, physical examination, diagnosis, treatment, and referral where necessary.
  • Stresses the importance of preventive health care measures.
  • Confers with supervising physicians, consulting physicians, nurses, patients, and patient families concerning treatment and care of patients.
  • Establishes effective working relationships with public and private physicians and other clinical referral resources.
  • Attends medical staff meetings and participates in the community health center's Q/A program.
  • Performs other necessary duties as required by the community health center to meet goals of providing primary health care.
  • Participates in the clinical program of the organization according to guidelines established for all clinical staff of similar training and board certification.
  • Uses available resources in diagnosis and treatment, such as laboratory and radiological testing, in an appropriate and cost-efficient manner.
  • Refers cases requiring specialist services but maintains responsibility, ensuring continuity of care.
  • Completes all records and reports as assigned.
  • Participates in the development and implementation of a regularly updated quality assurance plan for the organization.
  • Ensures an appropriate environment for the administration of healthcare by keeping equipment and work areas clean, safe, and orderly.

Requirements:

  • A graduate degree from an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
  • Current Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) licensure.
  • Current Nurse Practitioner certification in family medicine or gynecology.
  • Current provider CPR certification.
  • At least two years of experience preferred.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of $110,000 - $130,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, we provide comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
