Culinary Expertise at Marriott International

We are seeking a highly skilled Cook IV to join our culinary team at the Gaylord Texan Resort. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking food according to recipes and quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of related work experience and a high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent. This role includes monitoring food quality, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and adhering to safety policies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food.
  • Operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers to prepare and cook food according to recipes.
  • Monitor food quality while preparing food and ensure that it meets quality standards.

In this role, you will also be expected to maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhere to company policies and procedures, and provide excellent customer service.
