Quarry Laborer

Miller Springs Materials, LLC is seeking a skilled Quarry Laborer to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our quarry and supporting the production process.

• Operate Heavy Equipment: Safely operate various types of heavy equipment, including rock crushers, stone graders, and drilling equipment.
• Loading and Unloading: Load and unload materials from trucks and equipment, ensuring accurate weight measurements and minimizing waste.
• Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment to ensure optimal performance and extend its lifespan.
• Health and Safety Checks: Conduct regular health and safety checks on equipment and vehicles to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with regulations.

• Industrial/Construction Experience: At least 1 year of experience in industrial or construction settings, preferably with heavy equipment operation.
• Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and work at heights; must be physically fit and able to withstand outdoor weather conditions.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certifications in heavy equipment operation desirable.
• Safety Certifications: Possession of valid safety certifications, such as OSHA certification, may be required.

• Competitive Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.
