Reprocessing Specialist

In this role, you will be working in a fast-paced environment to maintain the highest standards of quality and safety.

The Reprocessing Specialist will play a vital part in ensuring the efficient processing of medical instruments and equipment. This includes disassembling and decontaminating instruments, assembling them according to hospital procedures, and sterilizing/disinfecting them using various methods.

• Disassemble and decontaminate instruments and equipment to ensure safe handling and proper sterilization
• Assemble all instruments and implants according to prescribed hospital procedures and techniques
• Sterilize/disinfect instruments, equipment, linen and supplies using various methods of sterilization/high level disinfection
• Provide assistance to various departments with additional tasks such as STAT case carts, intubation boxes, PAPR, Wound Vacs, etc.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Licensure/Certification: One or more of the following certifications is required within 18 months of hire date or job transfer date: Certified Central Service Tech (IAHCSMM) or Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Tech Certification (CBSPD)
• Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED) required; Previous C.S. experience preferred

We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as comprehensive benefits including paid time off, health insurance options, retirement benefits, and tuition reimbursement.
