As a Benefits Advisor, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and members. You will work closely with our healthcare teams to provide personalized support and guidance, helping individuals navigate the complexities of healthcare and make informed decisions about their care.

Responsibilities

The Benefits Advisor will be responsible for presenting the Elderplan Benefit Package to eligible participants, enrolling members in accordance with Elderplan, Medicare + Choice, Medicaid, New York State, and AAHP guidelines. This will involve working with individuals in their homes and at other community locations, providing education and support to help them make informed decisions about their healthcare.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and presentation skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with a bachelor's degree preferred. Three years of sales experience, particularly in managed care or healthcare, is a plus.

As a Benefits Advisor with Metropolitan Jewish Health System, you can expect a competitive salary range of $61,463.13 to $73,755.75 per year, depending on experience.
