Inhalation Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Inhalation Therapist to join our team at the Shapiro Center in Kankakee, Illinois. As an Inhalation Therapist, you will administer specialized inhalation therapeutic treatments to individuals with respiratory conditions, maintaining a safe and healthy environment for patients and staff.

• Administer inhalation therapy treatments as prescribed by attending physicians
• Prepare and present training to direct care staff on the technical function of therapy and specialized equipment
• Review and evaluate therapy results, recording data for future reference
• Maintain inhalation therapy equipment, reporting any failures and taking measures for immediate repair

• Graduation from an approved school for inhalation therapy
• Ability to physically restrain individuals as necessary to prevent injury
• Ability to work after business hours, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to utilize office equipment, including personal computers
• Ability to travel in the performance of job duties
