About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Paralegal to join our team at State Farm. As a Paralegal, you will play a crucial role in supporting our attorneys with discovery processes, medical summaries, and billing summaries. You will also be responsible for deposition and trial preparation.

Responsibilities

  • Support two attorneys with discovery processes, medical summaries, and billing summaries
  • Assist with deposition and trial preparation
  • Work independently and communicate effectively
  • Prioritize workload in a time-sensitive environment

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree and/or paralegal certificate
  • 1-5 years of civil litigation experience, preferably insurance defense or personal injury experience
  • Familiarity with court rules and procedures
  • Background in preparing disclosures, discovery responses, and trial preparation
  • Strong software/technical skills, specifically Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat
  • Experience working in an electronic/digital environment
