Respiratory Disease Specialist

MPLT Healthcare seeks an experienced Respiratory Disease Specialist to join our team in a challenging role that combines clinical expertise with exceptional patient care.
About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled Pulmonology - Critical Care Physician to manage chronic respiratory diseases, provide outpatient care, and perform diagnostic procedures. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with patients, healthcare professionals, and other specialists to deliver high-quality care and improve patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage chronic respiratory diseases, including asthma, COPD, pulmonary hypertension, interstitial lung disease, and cystic fibrosis
- Provide outpatient care, monitoring disease progression, adjusting medications, and educating patients on disease management
- Perform diagnostic procedures, such as bronchoscopy, thoracentesis, and lung biopsies (subject to state practice regulations and institutional policies)
- Support sleep medicine, managing sleep apnea patients and coordinating sleep studies
- Care for critically ill patients in the ICU, managing acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS), sepsis, multi-organ failure, or traumatic injuries
- Manage mechanical ventilation and non-invasive ventilation for patients with respiratory failure
- Perform procedures like central venous catheter placement, arterial line insertion, intubation, and chest tube placement
Requirements
- PA license required
- DEA certification
- BLS and ACLS certifications
What We Offer
MPLT Healthcare offers a competitive salary range of $180,000 - $250,000 per annum, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Our comprehensive benefits package includes health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
