We are currently hiring a Senior Software Engineer with expertise in creating beautiful user experiences and empathy for the creators we serve. The Builders Squad, responsible for developing essential tools for creators, is an integral part of our engineering team.

This role requires owning problem-solving across the full stack, collaborating with team members, participating in technical direction, and proactive communication with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive the development of high-performance user interfaces using modern frameworks like React and Tailwind
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze risks and dependencies, providing insights into scope and priorities
  • Mentor and teach other engineers, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development
  • Dive deep into complex problems, ensuring long-term stability and maintainability of applications
  • Take on ambiguous tasks, propose solutions, and execute projects independently, demonstrating self-starting initiative and ownership

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Expertise in modern frameworks like React and Tailwind
  • Experience with Ruby on Rails
  • Proven track record of writing accessible, scalable, maintainable, and performant code
  • Able to communicate effectively with stakeholders, document technical work clearly, and make it accessible to all teams
  • Self-motivated and autonomous, with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A strong growth mindset, leadership, and ownership with a drive to continuously improve and take on new challenges

Compensation and Benefits:

  • We offer standardized salaries based on position, regardless of location. For this role, we're hiring at a level 3 ($153,000) or a level 4 ($181,000)

  • $4,000 equipment allowance for your first two years, $3,000 budget every following two years
