Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Electrical Engineer to join our team at BAE Systems USA. As a key member of our Engineering, Science and Analysis (ESA) Strategic Capabilities Unit, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-reliability electronic systems for space-based applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop electronic systems, including modeling and simulation, analysis, and digital and analog circuit design.
  • Work closely with systems engineers to define functional and performance requirements.
  • Lead resolution of hardware anomalies and implement corrective actions.
  • Promote development of a strong team by mentoring junior team members and establishing effective working relationships.
Requirements
  • BS degree or higher in Engineering or a related technical field, plus 12 or more years of related experience.
  • Experience with electronic circuit design, electronic systems, and software.
  • Hands-on experience with lab power supplies, oscilloscopes, function generators, and logic analyzers.
  • Good communication and presentation skills.
