About the Role

This is a flexible part-time opportunity for an experienced freight inventory coordinator to join our team at JOANN Stores.

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized individual to manage our inventory and ensure seamless delivery of products to our customers. As a Freight Inventory Coordinator, you will be responsible for receiving and processing inbound shipments, maintaining accurate inventory levels, and ensuring that products are properly stored and rotated.

You will work closely with our store management team to optimize inventory management processes, reduce shrinkage, and improve customer satisfaction. Your strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment will be essential to your success in this role.

Responsibilities
  • Receive and process inbound shipments, including unloading trucks and verifying merchandise against packing slips.
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels, including tracking stock movements and conducting regular cycle counts.
  • Ensure that products are properly stored and rotated, and that shelves are stocked efficiently and effectively.
  • Work closely with store management to optimize inventory management processes and reduce shrinkage.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in inventory management, logistics, or a related field.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 49 pounds and stand for long periods.
