Job Description:
Physical Therapist I, Correctional Facility
- Under the clinical direction of the Chief Medical Executive and direct administrative supervision, administer physical therapy treatments and provide active, passive, restorative, and resistive therapeutic interventions to patients in a correctional facility.
- Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with healthcare professionals, patients, and family members.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in physical therapy and adhere to established protocols and guidelines.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Possession of a valid Physical Therapy license in California as determined by the California Medical Board.
- Experience working in a correctional or similar setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
- Demonstrated commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
