Job Summary

This position is responsible for overseeing the operations of a care coordination unit on a 24-hour basis, ensuring fiscal management, staff development, and resource management to achieve quality and safe patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Supervises professional, technical, and clerical staff to ensure quality work and effective management of the unit.
  • Develops and implements quality improvement activities to enhance patient care and staff performance.
  • Manages staffing patterns and ensures availability of qualified staff to meet patient care needs.
  • Contributes to the effective management of the department, including supplies, equipment, space, technology, policies, and procedures.
  • Assists in maintaining and achieving organizational goals related to licensure, regulatory, and accreditation standards.
  • Participates in community activities on behalf of the organization.
Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Licensed or eligible for license in Kentucky.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA).
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
