Job Overview
AbbVie is a leading biopharmaceutical company dedicated to discovering and delivering innovative treatments for serious health issues. We are seeking an experienced Medical Science Liaison to join our team in the Lung Solid Tumor therapeutic area.

About the Role
This field-based position requires a strong scientific background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently with healthcare professionals in various settings. The Medical Science Liaison will be responsible for:
  • Supporting research initiatives across development, including site evaluation, recruitment, and external expert identification.
  • Developing professional relationships with external experts in the therapeutic area.
  • Communicating field insights to internal business partners and providing education on disease states and AbbVie products to healthcare providers.
  • Maintaining knowledge of market trends and product information.
  • Collaborating with commercial teams to develop and execute territory plans.

Key Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should possess:
  • An advanced degree in a relevant scientific discipline (PharmD, MD/DO, PhD, PA or NP, BSN) or significant industry experience in the relevant therapeutic area.
  • At least 2 years of clinical, scientific/research, or industry-related experience.
  • Lung Solid Tumor experience preferred.
  • Previous pharmaceutical industry experience within a relevant scientific discipline is highly valued.

Compensation and Benefits
This position comes with a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, based on qualifications and experience. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k) plan, and paid time off.
