Nightside RN

This is a travel nursing opportunity for a Nightside Registered Nurse (RN) at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital.

• Location: Marietta, GA 30060
• Shift: Night - 12x3 - 07PM
• Scheduled Hours: 36 hours/week
• Duration: 13 weeks

This Nightside RN position involves providing patient-centered care to acutely ill patients on the night shift. The ideal candidate will possess strong critical thinking skills and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

1. Perform the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation) using evidence-based practice.
2. Provide relationship-based, patient-centered care that respects cultural diversity.
3. Partner with patients and their significant others to focus on their goals in the plan of care.
4. Coordinate safe, quality patient care delivery through effective communication and documentation.
5. Promote evidence-based practice, nursing research, and performance improvement in nursing.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia or a compact state
• ACLS, BLS, NIHSS certifications
• Less than 1 year of experience as an RN (completion of accredited/approved school of nursing with required clinical hours preferred)
• Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills
