About the Role
This is a challenging and rewarding position that requires strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. You'll be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining our fleet equipment, including tractors, trailers, bobtails, reefers, lift gates, and more. Your work will help us meet our commitment to customer satisfaction and safety.
The Job Involves:
- Troubleshooting and diagnosing issues with diesel equipment
- Performing routine maintenance and repairs
- Handling road service calls and performing rescue operations as needed
- Documenting all repair orders, PM lists, and parts accountability
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- 3+ years of experience in commercial diesel mechanics or refrigeration
- Familiarity with EPA and OSHA regulations
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple functions simultaneously
- Computer and software proficiency
- Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including nights and weekends
