About the Role:

  • Assess patients' conditions during admission and scheduled shifts, identifying and reporting changes in patient status promptly.
  • Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by medical providers, ensuring thorough documentation of care administration in the patient's medical record.
  • Administer prescribed medications, monitor patients for therapeutic response, and take appropriate action in case of unintended responses.
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, possible side effects, and follow-up measures, ensuring complete understanding by translating complex medical terminology.

About Our Unit:

  • Newly outfitted 32-bed Orthopedic & Spine Specialty unit committed to post-operative patient care.
  • Well-established care team consisting of registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, patient care techs, clinical nurse coordinators, and unit secretaries.
  • Supportive nurse leaders, experienced leads, joint navigators, and exceptional physician support.

What You'll Need:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
  • Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) of practice and/or has an active compact license.
  • Minimum one year prior Registered Nurse/RN experience required. Previous clinical experience in area of specialty preferred.
