About the Opportunity

This part-time opportunity offers the chance to grow your career in a purpose-filled industry where you can see results every day. As a Behavior Specialist, you will play a vital role in implementing consistent evidence-based mental health services and Applied Behavioral Analysis programs to clients with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Your primary responsibility will be to implement individualized treatment goals and Behavioral Intervention Plans in response to the direction provided by clinical staff. You will work closely with families and caregivers to understand their unique needs and develop effective strategies to support their loved ones.

Job Description
  • Conduct sessions with clients, unless time-off has been granted or parents have communicated that they would not like for the hours to be provided.
  • Subbing sessions may be assigned on Saturdays and within your availability.
  • Implement individualized treatment goals and Behavioral Intervention Plans.
  • Travel to Center, Home, and other community settings to deliver services.
  • Rend completed sessions daily and write thorough notes.
  • Communicate schedule changes and cancellations to clinical team immediately.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Flexible availability, particularly from 3-8 pm Monday through Thursday.
  • New hire training conducted online and in person.
  • Proof of vaccinations (MMR, Varicella, and COVID - California mandated).
  • Reliable transportation required.
  • Sensitivity to working with diverse populations.
  • Able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
  • Good judgment and decision-making skills.
  • Exercise confidentiality and discretion.
