Job Summary:

The Department of Neurosurgery at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA is seeking a neurosurgeon or neurologist with expertise in Neurocritical Care (NCC) & Neurotrauma. The successful candidate will have a strong interest in educating both neurosurgery residents and neurocritical care fellows and have a strong interest in research.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert care to patients with neurological disorders and injuries
  • Develop and implement educational programs for neurosurgery residents and neurocritical care fellows
  • Conduct research in the field of neurocritical care and neurotrauma
  • Collaborate with other faculty members to advance the department's research and clinical programs
Requirements:
  • MD degree and completion of an ACGME-accredited Neurosurgery or Neurology residency program
  • ACGME-accredited Neurocritical Care Fellowship or CAST-accredited Neurotrauma Fellowship
  • Certification by the American Board of Neurological Surgery (ABNS) or other ABMS board
  • Interest in educating both neurosurgery residents and neurocritical care fellows
  • Strong interest in research
