Job Title: Child Developmental Therapist

Soar Autism Center is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Child Developmental Therapist to join our team. As a key member of our interdisciplinary clinic, you will play a vital role in providing individualized therapy sessions to children aged 2-6, adhering to the principles of Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) therapy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality ABA therapy sessions to children, implementing intervention plans developed by our expert Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)
  • Build strong relationships with families, providing regular updates on their child's progress and collaborating with them to develop individualized therapy plans
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with advancements in ABA therapy and maintain certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
Qualifications:
  • Preferably enrolled in or completed a degree program in Child Development, Psychology, or a related field
  • Ability to obtain and maintain RBT certification (Soar provides paid training)
  • Previous experience working with children, particularly those with autism, and a passion for helping them thrive
  • Strong teamwork skills and ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues
  • Reliable transportation to training location and local center, with punctuality essential
  • Ability to meet physical requirements, including sitting, standing, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
