Position Overview

As an Internal Practice Auditor, you will play a pivotal role in the second level assurance function associated with the Integrated Management System (IMS), which encompasses various ISO standards including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 27001, and ISO 22301.

Your Role

In this capacity, you will be an essential member of the Practice Services functional support team, reporting directly to the Practice Services Manager. Your responsibilities will include:

1. **Planning and Executing Audits**: You will coordinate, conduct, and report on internal practice audits as mandated by our certifications.
2. **Quality Assurance**: Perform independent reviews of internal practice audit reports to ensure they meet quality and consistency standards.
3. **Data Analysis**: Analyze and report on internal key performance indicators and customer feedback.
4. **Improvement Plans**: Based on audit findings, assign corrective action plans (ISO-CAPAs) and evaluate the responses.
5. **Training**: Conduct training sessions on IMS requirements, including integration training for recent acquisitions.
6. **Reporting**: Present IMS function results at various leadership meetings and compose detailed reports, including office-specific audit reports and quarterly IMS reports for leadership distribution.
7. **Contractor Audits**: Conduct second-party contractor audits as necessary and coordinate audits conducted by ISO registrars.

Qualifications

Skills and Experience

- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, along with strong interpersonal abilities.
- Proven ability to influence through effective communication, negotiation, and relationship building.
- Detail-oriented and organized, capable of multitasking and adapting to shifting priorities.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly advanced Excel functions such as macros and VBA manipulation; knowledge of Power BI programming is a plus.
- Strong presentation skills, adept in using presentation support tools like PowerPoint.
- Proficiency in French or Spanish is considered an asset.
- Willingness to travel within Canada and the US up to 20%, with a valid passport and a clean driving record.

Education and Experience

A minimum of experience in a consulting firm environment, specifically related to auditing for ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 27001, and ISO 22301.
