Applicants should have a strong foundation in plant biology and be comfortable working with computers, dryers, and other electronic devices.

This position will report to the Site Operations lead and will work closely with both internal and external stakeholders to achieve shared goals.

We are seeking a collaborative and detail-oriented individual with excellent communication and critical thinking skills, as well as a knack for creative problem solving.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Dryer Operations: Provide optimal drying conditions to maximize throughput while ensuring seed quality standards are met.
  • Shipping and Receiving: Coordinate with projects to ensure timely shipping of seed to stakeholders, adhering to all regulatory systems.
  • Supervision: Supervise full-time employees and contingent workers, ensuring work is performed in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with protocols and regulations.

Requirements:

  • Forklift experience
  • Experience in tropical agriculture and/or horticultural operations
  • Bachelor's degree in biology, botany, plant breeding, agriculture, or related plant science field
  • Computer competency and experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
