Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales plans to ensure customer satisfaction, assigned quota attainment, and motivated staff.
  • Partner with marketing to develop and implement sales marketing programs and initiatives.
  • Determine annual sales and gross profit plan by implementing marketing strategies and analyzing trends and results.
  • Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing sales quota for territories.
  • Project expected sales volume and profit for existing and new product lines and customers.
Leadership and Management
  • Maintain sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping current with market supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors.
  • Recruit, select, orient, and train employees.
  • Maintain sales staff results by coaching employees, planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
Customer Relationships and Communication
  • Develop and maintain relationships with top customers.
  • Communicate intricate details to senior business managers.
  • Interface with internal support departments to establish positive customer experience.
Qualifications and Experience
  • High School Degree or Equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree – Sales, Business Administration, Engineering, or relevant field preferred.
  • Prior professional sales experience in related industry/5+ years.
  • Prior experience with managing a sales team and sales programs/3+ years.
  • Product knowledge in lighting, gear, electrical commodities, and solar – preferred.
  • Experience working with Commercial – Residential – Industrial accounts – preferred.
