Nuclear Scientist 2 Job Description

Los Alamos National Laboratory is seeking a skilled Nuclear Scientist 2 to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nuclear science and research, with experience in conducting collaborative experimental R&D in the nuclear science field.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research and development in nuclear science and technology
  • Collaborate with colleagues to design and optimize experiments
  • Analyze data and results to draw conclusions and make recommendations
  • Communicate research findings through publications and presentations
  • Participate in proposal writing and development

Requirements:

  • Master's or Ph.D. in a STEM field
  • 4+ years of experience in nuclear research and development
  • Experience with experimental R&D and data analysis
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to obtain a Q Clearance
