Warehouse Systems Optimization Specialist

As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our import warehouses by optimizing system performance and equipment availability.
Job SummaryThis is a highly technical position that requires a strong background in electrical and controls engineering. You will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting complex systems, including conveyor belts, sortation systems, robotics, and automated storage and retrieval systems.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in industrial electrical and control systems, as well as hands-on experience with installing and maintaining software and hardware. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure are essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain and troubleshoot complex systems, including conveyor belts, sortation systems, robotics, and automated storage and retrieval systems
- Conduct technical interviews for internal and external technician candidates
- Evaluate technical skills and abilities, and train and coach internal technicians
- Support training plan development and progress follow-up
- Two or four-year degree in Electrical or Controls Engineering or equivalent degree/experience
- Available to work all days and shifts (24 hours a day, 7 days a week operation, including holidays)
- Industrial electrical hands-on experience and troubleshooting, including 480V 3-phase, 110 VAC, and 24VDC systems
- Experience with installing and maintaining many types of software and hardware
- Strong organization and problem-solving skills with a drive for results and the ability to handle multiple tasks and teams

CompensationWe offer a competitive salary range of $69,000 - $124,200, commensurate with experience and qualifications. This estimate is based on national averages and may vary depending on location and other factors.
