About the Role

Western Arizona Regional Medical Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate ICU Registered Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in our intensive care unit.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and Plan Patient Care: Assess patients' conditions and develop individualized care plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Collaborate with Physicians: Work closely with physicians to implement treatment plans and provide updates on patient progress.
  • Administer Medications and Treatments: Safely administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, within the scope of your practice.
  • Teach Patients and Families: Educate patients and their families on self-care skills, medication management, and condition-specific information to promote independence and empowerment.
  • Perform Various Tasks: Assist with patient tests, procedures, and other tasks as needed to ensure seamless care delivery.
Requirements
  • Active RN License: Possess an active, valid RN license in good standing.
  • Schedule Flexibility: Demonstrate flexibility to cover shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends, as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in ICU Setting: One year of experience as an RN in an ICU or critical care setting.
  • Familiarity with Standard Concepts: Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the ICU setting.
