About the Role

We are seeking a qualified Advanced Practice Provider to provide diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic health problems, as well as preventive care focused on health risk factor reduction. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively with other healthcare providers.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing comprehensive patient assessments and developing individualized care plans
  • Diagnosing and treating a wide range of medical conditions
  • Ordering diagnostic tests and interpreting results
  • Prescribing medications and treatments as necessary
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records
Requirements

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a science-related field from an accredited program
  • Board certification as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
  • Current Virginia license to practice as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner with prescription authority
  • DEA number, NPI number, and basic life support card
  • Five to seven years of progressive experience in a healthcare setting
  • Excellent oral and written communication and professional interpersonal skills
