Job Title: Financial Compliance Manager

CIVIC is seeking a highly skilled Financial Compliance Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Global Finance & Accounting department, you will be responsible for ensuring the organization's compliance with applicable guidelines, policies, and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective systems, tools, and control procedures to mitigate compliance risks.
  • Conduct periodic global compliance program assessments and assist with annual prioritization of the organization's global compliance initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address compliance gaps and implement corrective actions.
  • Monitor compliance with all relevant policies and procedures, including newly-developed ones.
  • Lead and manage interactions with external auditors to ensure timely submissions for the annual financial audit, periodic program audits, and annual compliance filings.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 8 years' relevant experience in financial compliance and risk management.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or law.
  • Project management certification is preferred.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to perform under pressure.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of working with international NGOs and familiarity with accounting software.
