Senior Clinical Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Clinical Secretary to join our team at Dartmouth Health. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to our clinical staff, ensuring the smooth operation of our medical facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Administrative Support: Provide a wide range of administrative support to our clinical staff, including scheduling patients, managing calendars, and coordinating surgical procedures.
- Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer service to our patients, answering phone calls, screening and directing calls, and taking messages.
- Scheduling and Coordination: Schedule patients, manage calendars, and coordinate surgical procedures, ancillaries, and rotaries.
- Master Scheduling: Design, analyze, and coordinate master and other schedules.
- File Management: Maintain, track, and send charts, and provide scribing and other administrative support to clinical staff.
- Correspondence: Type letters, memoranda, manuscripts, grants, and compose and edit correspondence.
- Reporting and Budgeting: Complete and process a variety of reports, forms, reimbursements, and obtain authorizations and pre-certifications. Perform budget tracking and record keeping procedures.
- Training and Development: Conduct on-the-job training for new staff members and give input into performance appraisals.
- Education: High School diploma with 3 years of administrative support experience or the equivalent required.
- Experience: Proven experience working with the public required. Knowledge of medical terminology may be required.
- Skills: Proficiency in PC word processing, spreadsheets, and Excel, Power Point, MC Publisher software's. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.
