About the Role

We are seeking an accomplished Transformational Humanities Educator to join our dynamic team at Guidepost Montessori. This is a remote, work-from-anywhere position that offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the educational landscape.

As a key member of our online campus, you will be responsible for facilitating student progression through our comprehensive Humanities curriculum. Your expertise in creating engaging learning experiences will help students develop a deep understanding of history, humanism, and heroism.

This role requires a proven ability to work collaboratively with colleagues to continually improve the program and support our students. You will also partner closely with parents to ensure a seamless transition between home and school.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized lesson plans that cater to diverse student needs and abilities
  • Foster a supportive community that promotes academic excellence and personal growth
  • Mentor students in their pursuit of knowledge and critical thinking skills
  • Collaborate with colleagues to refine the curriculum and improve teaching methodologies
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to address student concerns and progress
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field (Master's preferred)
  • Proven experience in teaching Humanities or a related subject
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities
  • Passion for education and commitment to student success

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Additionally, you will receive a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings, and paid time off.
