About the Opportunity

Oracle GDI - Government Defense & Intelligence is seeking a Senior Cloud Account Executive to drive sales growth within the U.S. Air Force. This is a remote position, allowing the candidate to be based anywhere in the US.

Responsibilities
  • Build and execute a growth plan to increase cloud adoption within the U.S. Air Force.
  • Own the sales process, including business development, prospecting, contract negotiations, and post-sales support.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver Oracle Cloud solutions to mission-critical problems.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with business partners and system integrators to identify mutual benefits.
  • Provide Oracle IaaS and PaaS solutions to meet the needs of the U.S. Air Force.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of field sales experience, including technology sales experience.
  • Strong understanding of the Department of Defense and existing relationships within the Air Force.
  • Business development, prospecting, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to forecast, manage sales expenses, and close new Oracle business.
  • Oracle knowledge and/or knowledge of Oracle's competitors.
  • Ability to rapidly learn Oracle Cloud technology.
  • Travel may be required.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred.
  • Must possess or have the ability to obtain and maintain a TS Security Clearance. Must be a US Citizen.
