Job Overview

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and service physical security systems/platforms, including CCTV, access control systems, intrusion detection, communications, and other low-voltage systems.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot system issues.
  • Lead on-site installations and serve as foreman of an installation team.
  • Train and mentor others within the team.
  • Serve as the main customer interface.
  • Manage trades and subcontractors assigned to projects.
  • Maintain awareness of new and emerging technologies and their potential application on client engagements.

Requirements:

  • Minimum five years of experience with the installation and service of enterprise-level physical security systems and platforms.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in installation, troubleshooting, and testing of systems.
  • Advanced knowledge of intrusion detection systems, access control, CCTV, and other security systems.
  • Ability to oversee full installation of more than one system across multiple platforms.
  • Ability to obtain appropriate licensure.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.

Work Environment:

The physical environment requires the employee to work inside and outside in various conditions. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to frequently stand, walk, sit, and use hands to handle objects, tools, or controls.

On-call for critical systems maintenance may be required. First shift hours Monday – Friday, with occasional 2nd or 3rd shift and weekends depending on project schedules.

Travel Requirements:

Travel as necessary to support company and customer needs.
