Job Summary:

The Inn at Little Washington is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Culinary Trainee to join our team. As a Culinary Trainee, you will have the opportunity to work in a professional kitchen environment and gain hands-on experience in culinary arts. Our team is committed to providing exceptional service and cuisine, and we are looking for someone who shares our passion for excellence.

Responsibilities:

Assist with daily prep and organization as directed by the culinary management team
Assist with receiving and inventory management as needed
Execute cold side breakfast for in-house guests
Properly set up station for service
Accurately follow and execute recipes for assigned station
Breakdown station at the end of shift
Execute and assist with employee meal
Work with the banquet team for on-site special events
Clean and sanitize all BOH areas daily

Requirements:

Enrollment in culinary school or culinary education equivalent
Fundamental skills in all basic cooking techniques and execution of knife cuts
Growing sense of flavor development and ability to season foods properly
Servsafe certification
Previous culinary experience and bilingual in Spanish and English are desirable
